Friday morning I woke up and was presented with the idea of being home, alone...all day. The boyfriend was leaving around 1, which meant that I'd be left to my own devices for a while. He wasn't getting away that easily so I made him model for me and the results turned out amazing. He's great with facial expression so he made it really easy for me to get some really great and unique shots of him. I set to work editing a few of them with photoshop, and when that failed I jumped on picnik. I hate it because its so easy to use...but photoshop has a way of annoying me like nothing else in this world. I really need to get a cs3 manual for dummies.
Anyway the bug for taking amazing photos hadn't left me and my friend Jessica and I were talking and she said she was coming to get me and all I had to bring was ideas and my purse. We ended up going to a park, and she let me use her nikon(Fuck I am in love) d40 and I got some really fun shots with her, along with some that I really love.
I guess what I'm getting at is that photography has become more than just a profession to me, its become a passion and I'd really like to share that passion with other people. My Deviantart account started out as somewhere I could post about my day, and share the poetry that seemed to flow from me as often as piss; and when that became scarse and I had no more inspiration left for it this profile kind of went out of comission until I found something else that really made sense and I really loved doing. I just want everyone to follow their bliss and do what makes them happy. Even if you feel like you're a half assed photographer and only have a point and shoot camera, work with it. You will get better. My very first camera I started posting pictures with was 4mp, now I work with a 10mp. My photography is what has improved, not the technology. Yes, I can print off pictures up to a 24X36 size and still have crystal clear clarity; but whats the sense in that if you can't envision something beautiful filling that space?
This is a bunch of rambling but I hope someone finds inspiration in it.
Peace.
